Nerja Medina is a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment in a small, quiet urbanisation in the town of Nerja, on the Costa del Sol. It was built in 2000 and is very close to the centre of town with all its amenities. Less than 50 metres from the beach, it will appeal to young and old alike.

Television from home

The lounge has a television with UK channels, so you can keep up with the news and your programmes while you are away. There are also books and a folder of local information about Nerja, its restaurants and its beaches.

The lounge has two sofas, a television and a dresser. There are books and plenty of information about Nerja and the surrounding area. Full-height glass doors let the light in and look out onto the patio area, so the room stays bright even in winter.

Al fresco dining, morning to night

The sunny terrace has a table and chairs and two sun beds. It is fairly private and a perfect place for al fresco dining — breakfast in the sun, a long lunch, or a glass of wine once the town has gone quiet.

The master bedroom also has a window onto a small sun terrace, which is ideal for drying clothes after a day at the beach.

Fully equipped — though it may not get much use

The American-style kitchen is fully equipped, with a washing machine, oven and hob, microwave and fridge, plus everything you need for cooking in. Although with all the fine restaurants nearby, it doesn't get a lot of use!

The dining area seats four people and is adjacent to the kitchen, so serving up is easy. In the warmer months most people eat outside on the terrace instead — but this is the spot for a proper sit-down meal or a board game in the evening.

A double and a twin

There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large wardrobe with hanging space, drawers and shelves, a double bed and a chest of drawers. The window leads to a small sun terrace, which is ideal for drying clothes.

The second bedroom has twin beds and a chest of drawers, making the apartment a good fit for a family or for two couples sharing.

The bathroom has a shower cubicle and a bidet. There is no bath — worth knowing if you are travelling with very small children, though the beach is only a minute away and the shower is a good size.
